• Kitchen shelf

I wanted a stable and compact shelf for my coffee machnine and grinder. The shape was inspired by a provisional shelf made out of two Ikea shelfes. Stainless steel and beech were chosen to fit the rest of my kitchen. The 7° angle corresponds to the front of the coffee machine.
  • Rack and trays

To use a high temperature ofen at the University of  Zurich more efficiently i built a stainless steel rack plus the adequate trays made out of a chamotte slab and stainless steel mesh.
  • Lamp double ball

I needed a ceiling lamp in my corridor. And i had two similar old  lamps lying around. So i mounted them together to form a single double ball
  • Hardcase MacBook Air

While traveling i have often a super full backpack. To have a well protected space inside the backpack i created that case. It allows also easy removal of the laptop. Made of aluminium and laminated wood.
  • Cupboard

I have a lot of my stuff in handy plastic boxes, always ready to be relocated. To store these boxes i made a lightweight cupboard  out of ripstop nylon on a frame of aluminium and plywood. Wheels allow to turn the thing and make the boxes nearly invisible. Serves also as a shiner.
  • Ceiling lamp Domi

My brother needed a lamp for the living room to hang it over the dining table of his B&B. I made one of a massive fir beam in which i placed four halogen spotlights. The counterweights allow to move the lamp up and down.
  • Bag P3

For transporting my stuff on the bike i wanted a simple messenger style bag. So i made one on my bernina using heavy black cordura. The buckle for the adjustable strap is bent from sheet aluminium. A matching smaller bag keeps order inside the big one.
  • Book case

I wanted a flexible solution to store my books and multimedia equipment. So i built a modular system of hollow boards which are held together by long threaded bars. It can be setup in various sizes, but the assembly is definitively not yet ready for IKEA.
  • Ceiling lamp Mathis

When i was studying industrial design at Zürich unveristy of the Arts i was living in a very nice and old house on the Zuriberg. The rooms were high and i wanted chandelier like lamp. I put one together from aluminium profiles and mesh, with adjustable halogen bulbs.
  • Bed frameless

I wanted a bed which is flexible in its dimensions, leightweight and easy to transport. So i  took two old slatted frames and made four steel corner with aluminium legs. A tension kit holds everything together. Can be used with just one slatted frame.
