Glasses
In the last year at the Zurich Univeristy of the Arts we had to design glasses. Mine had a front frame made from foamed aluminium and blade thin temples made of Damascus steel. They won the third prize in a class competion at the Univeristy. -
Phone for blind people
Student project with Stefan Schneller. Our concept eyephone has additional features for visually handicapped people, like image recognition and an electronic assistant. The recorded images could either be processed internaly or send to a callcenter for further help. A charger and wireless headset are included. -
Mobility for the elderly
Together with students from the ETH Zurich we had to develop and build a device which helps eldery people to move freely. We designed a electric tricycle with easy access and an integreated shopping trolley. The working prototype was tested with the target audience. -
MP3 Player for Sony
Student project from spring 2004. Planed as an iPod Killer for Sony, this MP3 Player would have had great features like touchscreen, wireless headphones and connectivity for shareing music, high-quality sound and a very black waterproof housing. -
Pan mat
We had to experiment with metal and the different ways to work with it. Out of one of these experiments should be developped a product. I decided to make a foldable mat for hot pans. So that hot pans could be put on heat-sensitive materials. -
Container for eraser
We had to create something using thermoforming technique, so i decided to design a container for flexible erasers, which tend to stick together your pencils in your pencil box and getting dirty in the process. -
Bicycle wheel
Study project for the bicyle exhibition IFMA Cologne 2003. My intention was to create a wheel with integrated lighting.
